MARGARET E. COFFINBERGER
Margaret E. Coffinberger, age 85, Millville, died at 11:10 a. m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Grandview Health Homes, Danville, where she was a patient for one month. She was in failing health for several years.
Born in Milwaukee, Wis. on July 7, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Charles T. and Jane (Harris) Rowell. She resided in Millville since 1983 and formerly lived in Fairfax, Va.
She was a 1944 graduate of Washington & Lee High School, Arlington, Va.
Margaret was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Falls Church, Va. and the Millville Civic Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Coffinberger on Sept. 6, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Dennis L. Coffinberger, and his wife Marlo, Danville; a daughter, Diane C. Shaurette, Orangeville; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Rowell, and his wife Marion, Kilmarnock, Va.; and a sister, Blanche Patt, Buena Park, Calif.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011, at 10 a. m. in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Lebanon County, with the Rev. Allen F. Acor, pastor of the Hendrickson-Mooresburg United Methodist Churches officiating. There will not be any calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
