Margaret Jane Dove

Margaret Jane Dove, age 88, Lincoln Towers, Mulberry St., Shamokin died unexpectedly at her home early Tuesday, February 14, 2017.  

Born in Bloomsburg on August 2, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Augustus C. and Cora P. Hagemeyer. She was a 1946 graduate of Bloomsburg High School

Margaret Jane spent her early life in Bloomsburg and lived in Mount Pleasant Mills for many years before relocating to Shamokin six years ago. She was employed by Lyon Fashions, Inc., Mount Pleasant Mills for many years as a seamstress.

She enjoyed watching soap operas on television and doing word puzzles.

Margaret Jane was preceded in death by her former husband, William Dove, an infant son Danny, her in-laws, Lewis and Gertrude Dove, brother-in-laws: Lewis Dove, Jr. and Donald Dove, and his wife Vonda.

Surviving are two sons: Richard L. Dove, and his wife Bonnie, Bloomsburg and Robert Dove, and his companion Linda, Kulpmont; a daughter, Deborah Bickhart, Selinsgrove; six granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.

Private interment will be made in Elan Memorial Park, Lime. There will be no viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
