Margaret âPeggyâ Cartwright, age 81, 587 W. Main Street, Bloomsburg, died at her home at 9:45 a. m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, after a long illness.
Born In Wilkes-Barre on September 24, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Reese) Busch and resided in Bloomsburg since 1951
Peggy was last employed by Weis Markets, Danville, where she worked for eight years and had previously worked for Milco, Industries, Bloomsburg for 30 years.
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg where she served as a shepherd in the LAMS program.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Terrence G. âHossâ Cartwright on December 27, 2008; by two sisters: Ethel Busch and Jean Baker; and by five brothers: Leo Busch, Wilbur Busch, Bernard Busch, Robert Busch and Kenneth Busch.
Peggy is survived by four children: David W. Cartwright, Middleburg, Fla.; Peggy S., wife of Anthony âTonyâ Kopitsky, Bloomsburg; Teri L., wife of James Keefer, Catawissa; John M. Cartwright, and his wife Tracy, Bloomsburg; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Earl J. Busch, Kulpmont.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a. m. in Wesley United Methodist Church, Market & West Third Streets, Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Dr. Gary D. Weaver officiating.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 p. m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg or at the Church on Thursday from 10-11 a. m. Please use West Third Street entrance.
