Margaret E. (Wolfe) Seybert, age 85, 115 Rupert Drive, Bloomsburg, died at 9:40 p. m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where she was a patient for 17 days. She was in failing health since October.
Born in Lewisburg on March 2, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Minnie (Hauck) Wolfe. She resided in the Bloomsburg area for 63 years.
Margaret was last employed by May’s Drive In Restaurant on Route 11 and previously worked at the former Magee Carpet Co. for about 20 years.
She was a member of the former Rupert United Methodist Church. Margaret enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers: Dale Wolfe, Ralph Wolfe, Robert Wolfe, Kenneth Wolfe, Paul Wolfe. George Wolfe and Ernest Wolfe; and by two sisters: Gladys Baker and Pearl Weaver.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry N. Seybert, with whom she observed her 63rd wedding anniversary on December 10, 2017; a son, Wayne E. Seybert, and his wife Joanne, Danville; a daughter, Debra Scott, and her companion Lee Rodgers, Mechanicsburg; a grandson, Michael S. Williams, Charlotte, N.C.; a granddaughter, Stephanie, wife of Bryan Watson, Newport; a great-grandson, Logan Phillips, Mechanicsburg; a sister, Isabelle Byrd, Montandon; a sister in law, Jenny Wolfe, Montandon; and many nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. Interment will be made in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
