MARJORIE L. HOLM
Marjorie L. Holm, age 86, formerly of John Penn Circle, Bloomsburg, died at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011 at Loyalton of Bloomsburg where she resided since Oct., 2007.
Born in Buckley, North Wales, United Kingdom on Dec. 22, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Priscilla (Dolby) Shone. She resided in Bloomsburg since 1987 and formerly lived in New Jersey for many years.
Marjorie was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Bloomsburg.
She was a homemaker.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Howard H. Holm on Dec. 14, 2002; by a daughter, Megan (Holm) Fairchild; a sister, Mary McLauchlan; and a son-in-law, Joseph Jellock.
Surviving are a son, David G. Holm, and his wife Joan, Palmerton; a daughter, Marie P. Jellock, Lake Ariel; three grandchildren: Sally Jellock, Joseph Emery Jellock, Edward Jellock; a sister, Dorothy Shone and four brothers: Norman Shone; Gerald Shone, and his wife Margaret; Derek Shone, and his wife Kathy; Geoffrey Shone; and a brother-in-law, Robert McLauchan, all of Buckley, United Kingdom. There are also eight nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p. m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, E. Main & Iron Sts., Bloomsburg, with her paster, Rev. Canon Marjorie A. Menaul officiating.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in New Jersey.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
