Marjorie D. (Diltz) Mensinger, age 88, of 314 Bissett’s Lane, Bloomsburg went to be with her Lord and Saviour at 10:40 p. m. Friday, December 4, 2020 while a patient at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Lime Ridge on November 28, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Alvin F. and Myrtle (Benjamin) Diltz. She spent her entire life in South Centre Township.
Marjorie was employed at the former R & G Silk Mill early in her life. Most of her life was spent as a loving wife and mother to her three children. She suffered for many years with numerous health issues and through it all she showed extreme grace.
She was a member of the Almedia Bible Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Sheldon E. Diltz and Doyle Diltz and a sister Betty L. Fenstemaker.
Marjorie is survived her beloved husband Byron C. Mensinger with whom she would have celebrated 66 years of marriage on December 25, 2020; a daughter, Brenda Reeves, Harding and two sons: Mark Mensinger and his wife Rachelle, Bloomsburg and Shane Mensinger, and his longtime companion, Christine Doraski, also of Bloomsburg; three grandchildren: Jonathan Reeves, Harding, Jeremy Reeves and his wife Katie McHale-Reeves, Wyoming, PA, Hayley Reeves, Berlin, New Jersey; three great grandchildren: Connor, Logan and Liam Reeves and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a. m. in Elan Memorial Park, 5595 Old Berwick Rd., Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge) with the Rev. Brad Iverson, pastor of Berwick Bible Church officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
