Marjorie Kay (Rydd) Pfuntner

Marjorie Kay (Rydd) Pfuntner, age 81, 1342 Old Tioga Turnpike, Stillwater (Cambra) died Monday evening January 23, 2023 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital in Plains where she was a patient.

She was born on August 2, 1941 in Gibsonville, North Carolina, daughter of the late Charles A. and Marjorie C. (Rhines) Rydd. She resided in Cambra since 2013 and formerly lived in Mainville for many years. She was a 1959 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed walking. Marjorie was a former school bus driver in Main Township and served on the Main Township board of elections. She was also a member of the Mainville Fire Co.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Pfuntner, on January 28, 2007.

Marjorie is survived by two children: Penny wife of Robert Gerringer of Cambra and Michael A. Albertson and his wife Kim of Benton; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gloria Breisch of Bloomsburg and Carol Kemp of Virginia Beach, Va.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 4^th, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Emanuel Reformed Cemetery in Main Township, 146 Church Rd., Bloomsburg.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
