Marjorie A. Ruckle, age 91, 420 Main Street, Orangeville, died at 2 a. m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at the Orangeville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where she was aptient since August 2, 2012.
Born in Mt. Pleasant Township on Sept. 5, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Frank Hock and Esther E. (Beagle) Hock Turner. She resided in Orangeville since 1952 and perviously lived in Bloomsburg. She attended the Mt. Pleasant Township schools before graduating from Bloomsburg High School in 1949.
Marjorie was a beautician, operating a shop in her home for many years and also was employed at the Orangeville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in the dietary department for a number of years.
She was a member of the Orangeville United Methodist Church.
Marjorie enjoyed cooking, sewing, shopping, square dancing and attending the Bloomsburg Fair.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Donald Ruckle, on July 14, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Randy D. Ruckle, and his wife Clara; a granddaughter, Angela M., wife of Chris Hess; a grandson, Ryan Ruckle, and his wife Vanessa; and two great-grandchildren: Trae and Harlow, all of Orangeville. She was the last of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Darwin C. Goshorn and a former pastor, Rev. John E. Lee officiating. Interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Orangeville.
