MARK A. DiFEBO
Avid NASCAR fan enjoyed time with his family
Mark A. DiFebo, age 52, 2356 Old Berwick Rd., Bloomsburg (Espy) ended his journey through life unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 while at work at Amerimax Building Products, Inc., Bloomsburg, and was pronounced dead in the emergency room of the Bloomsburg Hospital at 1:14 p. m.
Born in Bloomsburg on April 25, 1959, he was a son of Wayne A. DiFebo, Berwick and the late Joan F. (Whitenight) DiFebo.
Mark attended the Bloomsburg Public schools and was employed for a time at the former Bloomsburg Mills, Inc.,. He went on to what became his final place of employment, Amerimax Building Products, where he would have celebrated 29 years of employment in March. Unlike most, he loved his job and co-workers. He was a dedicated employee, rarely missing work, and looking forward to going to his job daily.
Mark was a quiet relaxed man, who did not allow small things to upset him. He was an avid NASCAR fan, who also took pleasure in camping, fishing and enjoyed the simply things that life had to offer. He enjoyed good conversation with friends and often laughed at memories of of old times shared with them. Once you became a friend of Mark, you knew that you had made a friend for life.
Surviving in addition to his father, is his loving wife of 15 years, the former Leslie J. Shoemaker; four children: Tara, wife of David Calhoun, Florida; Dominick DiFebo, Factoryville; Larry Gross, Bloomsburg; Tara Gross, Durham, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Gary DiFebo, and his wife Michelle, Bloomsburg.
Mark was preceded in death by a younger brother, Ross A. DiFebo.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 p. m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg. There will no funeral services and burial will be made at a later date.
