MARK  A.  JEIRLES

Mark A. Jeirles, age 46, 1634 Taylor Place, Williamsport, was killed instantly when struck by a hit and run vehicle late Wednesday evening in Williamsport and pronounced dead at 12:05 a. m.  Thursday May 3, 2012

Born in Williamsport on May 4, 1965, he was a son of Ardell L. Jeirles, Bloomsburg and the late Margaret P. (Hughes) Jeirles. He spent much of his life in Bloomsburg and recently moved to Williamsport from Delaware where he resided for a brief time.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jonathan P. Jeirles on May 24, 2003.

Surviving in addition to his father, are three children, including  Aaron Westphal and Khristen Westphal, both of Ohio.; three brothers: Daniel L. Jeirles and Timothy G. Jeirles, Sr., both of Bloomsburg; Michael S. Jeirles, Mifflinburg; and a sister, Rowena H. Hokenberry, Liverpool.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Allen F. Acor, pastor of the Mooresburg-Hendrickson United Methodist Churches officiating. Interment in Canby Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township.
