Marqueen B. Henrie, age 80, 604 E Fourth Street, Bloomsburg, died at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at the Columbia Montour Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville, where she was a patient for one day. She was in failing health for two months.
Born on November 15, 1928 in Lightstreet, she was a daughter of the late William and Edna (Houseknecht)Robbins. She resided in the Bloomsburg area all her like and was a 1946 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.
Early in her life, she was employed by the former Bell Telephone Co. at their Bloomsburg office. She was an accomplished seamstress and sewed for many people and also enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Henrie, Jr on February 13, 1986.
Surviving are five children: Craig C. Hagemeyer and his wife Eva, Ephrata; Vicki Kleckner, Reading; Guy Henrie III and his wife, Virginia; Scott R. Henrie; Timothy Henrie all of Bloomsburg; five grandchildren and two sisters; Harriet Robbins, Hughesville and Maxine Lewin, Hudson, Fla.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Dean W Kriner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg. Interment in New Rosemont Cemetery. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends, Tuesday from 1-2 p.m.
