Marguerite M. “Peg” (Wagner) Dalious, 86, formerly of East Hillcrest Drive, Bloomsburg passed away peacefully at Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation in Danville on Thursday afternoon, April 17, 2025.
Born on August 15, 1938 in Mount Carmel, she grew up in Aristes and was a daughter of the late George W. and Lavinia Y. (Koch) Wagner. She was a 1956 graduate of the former Congyngham-Centralia High School.
Peg was employed at Bloomsburg State College in the cafeteria for three years. She then was employed at the Danville Child Development Center for 20 years, retiring in 2000.
She was involved with the Mainville 4-H Club for many years. She also belonged to the Red Hat Society, The Stuffers Group and the Mainville Historical Society.
Peg was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Paul T. Dalious, on May 2, 2016 and two brothers: Wilmer Wagner and Michael J. Wagner.
Surviving are five children: George W. Dalious and his wife Joyce of Bloomsburg, Darla D., wife of Bruce Eyer of Elysburg, Paula A., wife of Ronald Wittenrich of Catawissa, Harold G. Dalious and his wife Barbara of Chambersburg, and Linda E., wife of William Sones of Orangeville; eight grandchildren: Tristan Dalious and his wife Erin, Tyler Dalious and his wife Megan, Kristine wife of Cole Morris, Denise wife of Rachi Suwanrut, Adam Wittenrich and his wife Kendyl, Alexander Dalious and his wife Sarah, Samantha Dalious and her wife LeAnne and Hunter Sones; four great grandchildren: Cecelia, Lily, Evelyn and Ronin; and a sister, Joanne wife of Richard Doan of Brooksville, Florida.
Private graveside services will be held on Thursday April 24, 2025 at 11 a. m. in Emmanuel Reformed Cemetery in Main Township with Rev. Stephen D. Engelhart officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
