Marquerite E. "Maggie" Wood

Marguerite E. "Maggie" Wood, age 73, 103 W. Blaine Street, McAdoo, died at 11:47 a. m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Bloomsburg Care & Rehabilitation, Bloomsburg,  where she was a patient since September, 2017.

She was born in Coaldale on December 28, 1944 a daughter of the late George and Marguerite (Neiswender) Oster.

Maggie was a sweet loving person who would help anyone she could and was in turn liked by everyone that knew her.

In  addition to her parents, she was preceded in death  by her husband, Richard P. Wood on March 18, 1996.

Maggie is survived by two sons: Vincent Wolfe, Sr., and his wife Tammy, McAdoo and Harrison Wolfe, Sr., Hazleton; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February   17, 2018, at 11:00 a. m. Mount Laurel Memorial Park 1000 S. Church Street, Hazle Township with the Rev. Dr. Jane Hess, pastor of Faith United Church of Christ, Hazleton, officiating. There will be no viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
