Martha M. Hahn
Martha M. Hahn, age 89, formerly of East Fifth Street, Bloomsburg, died at 1 p. m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Statesman Woods Personal Care facility, Levittown, where resided since March, 2005.
Born in Roaring Creek Township on February 22, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Bessie (Blass) Helwig. She was a graduate of the former Locust Township High School, Numidia in 1941.
Martha lived in Bloomsburg for 12 years until 2004 when she moved to Yardley to reside with her son. Previously she resided in Bristol for many years.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Millgrove.
Martha was preceded in death by two husbands: George H. Moyer on June 26, 1958 and George Hahn on April 24, 1983; and by a sister, Doris Hower in 2012.
Surviving are two daughters: Teena Kuklis and Diana, wife of John Raccagno, both of Levittown; a son, Brian Hahn, and his wife Lori, Yardley; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Retta, wife of Larry Ebersole, Elizabethtown; and a brother, Ray Helwig, Mt Joy.
Friends are invited to attend graveside services on Saturday at 11 a. m. in Elan Memorial Park, 5595 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge). There will be no viewing or calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
