Mary Isabel Beishline Phillips, age 104, of Danville and formerly of Bloomsburg, died at 7:45 a. m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2018 at the Emmanuel Center For Nursing, Danville, where she was a resident since Sept. 24, 2018.
Born on Sept. 24, 1914 in West Hemlock Township, Montour County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence J. and Florence J. (Shultz) Lockhoff.
Mary was a graduate of Millville High School and the Empire Beauty School in Sunbury. She operated a beauty shop in Bloomsburg.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Bloomsburg for several years and more recently a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Danville. She also was a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union.
Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred C. Beishline, on August 16, 1982; by her second husband, Edward R. Phillips, Aug. 21, 2007; a daughter, Dorothy Jean Carter, May 25, 2018; by sisters: Donna Latchford and Virginia Faye Edwards and brothers: Clarence O. Lockhoff and Harold Lockhoff.
She is survived by four children: Patricia E. VanDine, Bloomsburg; Robert C. Beishline, and his wife Diana, Bloomsburg; Faye L. Wolff, Bloomsburg; Victoria D., wife of Walter Bolinsky, Bloomsburg; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Pastor George H. Johns, Jr., of the Bloomsburg Christian Church will officiate. Interment will be made in St. James Cemetery, near Bendertown. There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
