MARY E. ANDRAS GEUSIC

Mary E. Andras Guesic, age 92, formerly of Hazlewwood Apartments, Hazleton, died at 9:45 a. m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Bloomsburg Health Care Center where she resided for almost six years.

Born in Stockton, Luzerne County on October 11, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Micko) Stortz. She resided in Freeland for much of her lifetime.

Mary was employed by the Hajoca Corp., Hazleton and the cafeteria of the former Foster Township School system.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hazleton.

Mary was preceded in death by two husbands: George Andras in Nov., 1973 and Michael Geusic in Sept., 1991; by a sister, Ann Kamishock; and two brothers: Joseph Stortz and Ronald Tisi.

Surviving are two sons: George R. Andras, and his wife Carol, Laceyville and Roger J. Andras, and his wife Lois, Danville; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. There will be no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville.
