MARY E. (HUDDY) HINDS
Mary E. (Huddy) Hinds, age 89, 6416 Oak Tree Circle, Edmond, Ok.; died at 6:39 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 in Mercy Health Center, Oklahoma City, Ok.
Born in Bloomsburg on November 23, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Michael C. and Daisy (Davenport) Huddy. After graduating from Bloomsburg High School in 1941, Mary lived in Gaithersburg, Md.; Rockville, Md. and Sunbury before returning to Bloomsburg in 1988; where she resided until moving to Oklahoma in 2010.
Mary was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Hinds on August 25, 1983; a brother, Michael R. Huddy in 1939 and a sister, L. Glenda Hoover in 2000.
Surviving are two daughters: Kathryn “Kathy†Dunn, with whom she resided in Edmond, Ok.; and Lindsay, wife of Ross Bowman, Forest Hill, Md.; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was the last of her family.
Friends are invited to attend graveside services on Saturday, June 29 at 11 a.m. in New Rosemont Cemetery, Old Berwick Road, Espy, with the Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence of St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
