Mary R. Shultz, age 82, 4 Cardinal Road, Orangeville, died peacefully at home at 9:45 p. m. Monday, April 28, 2014. She had been a guest at the Millville Health Care Center from June, 2012 until returning to the home of her daughter, Mary Sue Loreman earlier Monday.

Born in Bloomsburg on August 23, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Louise (Oberdorf) Fisher. She resided in Bloomsburg until moving to her daughter's home in February, 2012.

Mary managed the former Mary's Kitchen Restaurant in the Market Street Shopping Center, Bloomsburg for a number of years. Earlier in her life she was employed by the former Magee Carpet Co.

She was a member of the First English Baptist Church, Bloomsburg.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Shultz on August 17, 2004 and by two sons: Roy Barton Shultz on June 5, 1965 and David Allen Shultz on July 5, 2004.

Surviving are four children: Jacqueline Rae Blysma, Catawissa; Betty Louise, wife of Steven Edwards and Charles Dean Shultz,  and his wife Norma, all of Bloomsburg; Mary Sue, wife of Dennis W. Loreman, with whom she last resided; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and five siblings: Paul Fisher, and his wife Mary,  Numidia; Betty Fisher, Bloomsburg; twins: Janet, wife of Larry Bennett and Josephine, wife of Larry Deiterich, all of Bloomsburg; Charles Fisher, and his wife Marie, Millville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held with her pastor, Rev. Dr. L. Lee Barnhardt officiating,  in New Rosemont Cemetery.

The family will provide flowers. Memorials may be sent to Columbia Montour Home Hospice, 410 Glenn Ave., Bloomsburg, PA 17815.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
