Matthew S. Donnelly

Matthew S. Donnelly, age 54, of Hillside Village, Catawissa died at his home on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Born in Long Beach, California on November 21, 1968, he was a son of Ronald R. Donnelly of Palm Desert, California and Maxine (Long) Donnelly of Catawissa. He attended Southern Area High School and was a 1987 graduate of Los Alamitos High School, Los Alamitos, California.

Matt also attended the G.I. T. Music School in Hollywood. He loved music and was a gifted guitar player, playing in several bands. He particularly enjoyed the music of Dokken and George Lynch.

He was employed by Budweiser Brewing Co. as a displayer and later worked for the family business, the former Maxi Manufacturing Co. in Catawissa. More recently he owned the Pool Store in Catawissa.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Stephanie Donnelly, of Long Beach, a nephew, Jaxon Donnelly of Long Beach and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private services will be held by the immediate family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
