Maxine L. (Davis) Cameron
Maxine L. (Davis) Cameron, age 44, 110 Woodside Road, Danville, died at her home at 2:22 p. m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, after being seriously ill since November.
Born at Geisinger Medical Center on Dec. 9, 1967, she was a daughter of Judy (Appleman) Davis, Danville and the late Robert L. Davis. She spent her entire life in the Danville area and was a 1986 graduate of Danville Area High School.
Maxine was self employed as a private duty health care aide, working in area homes when needed.
She was a social member of the Continental Fire Co. and American Legion Post 44. In her spare time she enjoyed being with her family, especially her children.
Surviving in addition to her mother, is her husband, William I. Cameron, Jr., Danville; a son, Bradley Achy, and his wife Chelsea J., Newport News, Va.; a daughter, Madyson L. Achy, Danville; and two sisters: Christine D., wife of Arthur Oberdorf, Arnold, Md. and Patti L., wife of Christopher Kirkner, with whom she last resided.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:30 p. m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville, with the Rev. Gretchen M. Johanson, pastor of Christ United Lutheran Church, Catawissa, officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday from 1:00 to 2:30 p. m.
