Miriam J. “Mim” (Keller) Stauder, age 89, formerly of 2987 State Rte 487, Orangeville (Forks), passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at The Gardens of Orangeville, where she resided for several years.
Born on February 4, 1932 in Mahoning Twp., Montour County, she was the daughter of the late Glenn A. and Margaret L. (Lamon) Keller. Mim had resided in Forks since 1990 and was formerly of Edgewater, MD, where she resided for 30 years. She was a 1950 graduate of Benton High School.
Mim was last employed by the former Country Charm on Main St. in Bloomsburg as a sales clerk.
She was a longtime member of Zion United Church of Christ in Forks.
Mim was preceded in death by her husband, Keith I. Stauder, on March 8, 1994; a son, K. Gary Stauder, on February 28, 2021; two sisters: Barbara McHenry and June Burke, and a brother, Allen M. Keller.
Surviving are four children: Michael K. Stauder, and his wife Angela, of Forest, VA, Mark C. Stauder, and his wife Carol, of Greenville, SC, Lisa A., wife of Wayne L. King, of Chesapeake Beach, MD, and Eric P. Stauder, of St. Croix, Virgin Islands; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Zion United Church of Christ, 24 Zion Church Rd., Orangeville, with Pastor Mark Rowell, officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery. Viewing from 10-11 a.m. in the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
