Molly A. (Pursley) Haas

Molly A. (Pursley) Haas, age 85, of Kipps Run Rd., Danville (Riverside), died Saturday morning June 17, 2023 at her home.

Born on December 21, 1937 in Hartley Twp., Union Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Hironimus) Pursley. She was a 1955 graduate of Lewisburg High School and resided in Riverside for over 50 years.

Molly was employed by Geisinger Medical Center in Danville for more than 25 years as a housekeeper, retiring in 1992.

Her favorite activity was the time that she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Haas, on February 24, 2022.

Molly is survived by three children: Tina, wife of Scott Kline, of Benton, John R. Haas, and his wife Holly L., of Riverside, Frances E., wife of David Babich, of Berwick; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday June 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Rd., Danville. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m.
