Nancy M. Estis, age 68, 201 Fair Street, Bloomsburg, died at 4:20 a. m. Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at her home. She had been in failing health for many years.
Born in Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Herbert E. and Nancy (McDonald) Thomas. She was a 1965 graduate of Archbishop Pendergast High School, Drexel Hill and resided in Bloomsburg for over 20 years.
Nancy was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg, and did volunteer work for the Columbia County United Way. She loved her dog and her cats.
Surviving are three brothers: Herbert E. Thomas, Jr., Upper Darby; Robert J. Thomas, and his wife Lynne, Bryn Mawr; John C. Thomas, and his wife Maryla, Bloomsburg. There are also a number of nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 1:30 p. m. in St. Columba Catholic Church, 342 Iron Street, Bloomsburg, by her pastor, Monsignor Robert E. Lawrence. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Delaware County.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
