Nancy J. Taylor, age 52, 1825 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, died at 12:03 p. m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where she was patient for two weeks. She had suffered with health problems for several years.
Born in Bloomsburg on Jun 29, 1965, she was a daughter of Otis L. Taylor, with whom she resided and the late Barbara Ann (Ware) Taylor. She spent her life in Catawissa and Bloomsburg.
Nancy was last employed as a cook by Rusty Magee, Bloomsburg and previously worked at the former Tom's Kitchen, Catawissa, Aramark Food Service at Bloomsburg University and the former Taylor's Restaurant in the Market Street Plaza, Bloomsburg.
She was a social member of the Valley of Bloomsburg Post 273, American Legion and of the Ladies Auxiliary of Ft. McClure Post 804, VFW. Nancy loved flowers and always grew them in her backyard.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a brother, Steven S. Taylor in Idaho.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with the Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, officiating. Interment in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. Friends may call from 9-10 a. m.
