Nancy Jean Temple

Nancy Jean Temple, age 74, of 2201 Third Street, Bloomsburg (Espy) made the journey home on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, after battling COPD for several years.

She was born on September 10, 1948 at the Bloomsburg Hospital, a daughter of the late Harvey, Sr., and Mabel (Phillips) Temple. She lived in Millville, Berwick and Bloomsburg during her lifetime and attended the Millville Schools.

Nancy worked locally all of her life in healthcare, counseling and manufacturing. She enjoyed the outdoors, reading, dancing, live music and especially time spent with her grandchildren, who she adored.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Andrew T. Temple and his partner Nicole Cregar of Stillwater; three grandchildren: Nathan T. Temple, Berwick; twins, Nicholas A. Temple of Stillwater and Heidi M. Temple of Princeton, New Jersey; three brothers: Harvey Temple, Jr., Berwick; Roger Temple and his wife Madeline, Catawissa; Robin Temple, Shamokin; Mary Lou, wife of Greg Strawser, Penns Creek and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held by her family in Spring.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
