Nina Spadotto, age 75, Bloomsburg, died at 2:40 a. m. Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Geisinger Bloomsburg Health Care Center where she resided since December, 2015. She had resided in the Danville-Bloomsburg area for eight years and formerly lived in Staten Island and Brooklyn, New York.
Born in New York City on November 3, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Nick and Olga (Miseyko) Levonick. She attended Seward High School in New York City.
Nina was a homemaker and mother. She especially enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Frank Mirabile and a brother, Sonny Levonick.
Nina is survived by three children: Laura, wife of Joseph DeVito, Bloomsburg; Peter Spadotto, and his wife Ashley, Trevorton, PA; Julia, wife of John Doran, Hillsborough, New Jersey; seven grandchildren: Michael Mirabile; Joseph DeVito, Jr.; Nicholas DeVito; Dana Albano; Theresa Albano; Jonathan Doran; Olive Spadotto and a sister, Paula Weisbaum, Staten Island, New York.
There will be no funeral services or viewing. In lieu of flowers, friends may remember Nina with a contribution to the Geisinger Health System Foundation Lung Cancer Awareness Fund.
