Patricia A. (Winfield) Corbin

Patricia A. (Winfield) Corbin, age 84, of 257 Main Street, Wood died peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Grandview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Danville, PA.

Born in Wood on March 1, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Cora (Myers) Winfield. She was a lifelong resident of Wood and a 1958 graduate of Robertsdale High School.

Patricia was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wood.

She was a homemaker much of her life and enjoyed crossword puzzles and assembling jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Corbin, on July 4, 2005 and by a son, Ricky Winfield on February 4, 2023.

Patricia is survived by four children: Vicky, wife of Leonard Baker of Bloomsburg, Stephen Winfield of Saxton, Delonda, wife of Jason Neville of Saxton, Allen Corbin, Jr. of Wood; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a brother, Lewis Winfield and his wife Brenda of Wood.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 11 a. m. in the First United Methodist Church, 341 North Street, Wood, with her pastor, Rev. Julie Rosensteel officiating. Interment will be in the Broad Top I. O. O. F. Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Church from 10-11 a. m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Geisinger Hospice, 74 Schoolhouse Road, Danville, PA 17821.
