Patricia Ann (Parks) Loyd

Patricia Ann (Parks) Loyd, age 65 of Nescopeck took her last journey in life early Sunday, July 6, 2024 at the home of her sister Nancy Fultz in Nescopeck while under the care of Commonwealth Hospice and surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on April 17, 1959 in Montclair, New Jersey the daughter of Joan (Roloson) Senior of Nescopeck and the late Richard A. Parks. She resided in Illinois and Pennsylvania and collected many special little souls along the way. She was a 1977 graduate of Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School.

Patty was employed for many years as a grill cook and enjoyed watching cooking shows on television. Always one to bring humor to any situation, Patty made everyone laugh. Love was no stranger to her and she loved with her whole heart. Although she will be missed by her family, she will be remembered for her feisty spirit, her love of her grandchildren, and how brave she was as she succumbed to cancer.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister- in- law, Denise Rough and her very best friend Julie Jean.

Patty is survived by her mother Joan Senior and her companion Harold; her daughter Tiffany Butera and her partner Greg Spiers of Charleston, Illinois; a son Garrett Loyd and his companion Amber Snyder of Danville; three grandchildren, Phoenix, Julian and Carmen of Illinois; two step-daughters, Crystal Gaines and Star of Champagne, Illinois; two step great-grandchildren, King and Kion; three siblings, Kenneth Parks and his wife Faye of Murphreesboro, Tennessee, Nancy Fultz of Nescopeck, Ronnie Rough and his wife Tracy of Berwick; and many nieces and nephews who all played a special role in her end of life care.

Special thanks to Commonwealth Hospice for their care of Patty.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
