Patricia A. Sessions, age 69, 165-B Schoolhouse Road, Bloomsburg (Buckhorn), died at her home at 3:45 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2015 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Bloomsburg on February 4, 1946, she was a daughter of L. Arlene (Fedder) LeVan, Buckhorn and the late John LeVan. She was a lifetime resident of the Bloomsburg area, living on West Main Street for many years.
Patricia was a member of Ft. McClure Post 804, Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and crocheting.
Patricia had Polio as a child, and at the age of 6 served as poster child for the Columbia County March of Dimes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Sessions on July 19, 1981.
Surviving are three children: Trudy Reibsome, Danville; Brian E. Reibsome, Bloomsburg and Stacy L., wife of Frank Wallick, with whom she last resided; four grandchildren: Jarrod, Daniel, Haylie and Dillyn; four brothers: Joseph B. LeVan, Buckhorn; Dennis W. LeVan, wife Maxine, Bloomsburg; Stephen J. LeVan, Berwick; LaRue E. LeVan, wife Mel, Mechanicsville, Va.; and two sisters: Lana, wife of John Hanaway, Danville and Pamela S., wife of Robert Farley, Mifflinville.
A viewing will be held on Saturday from 5-7 p.m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg. Interment in Creveling Cemetery, Almedia at the convenience of the family.
