PATRICIA GAIL TREADO
Patricia Gail Treado, age 59, 340 E. Prospect Ave., State College, died at 8:28 a. m. Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Geisinger Medical center, Danville, where she was a patient for two days.
Born In Washington, DC on Nov. 4, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Richard Ayo and Mary (Stevens) Ayo Orlando.
She was a 1971 graduate of Gar-Field High School, Woodbridge, Va.
Gail resided in State College for the past two years and previously lived in Poolesville, Md. for 22 years.
She was employed at Penn State University as a pharmacy assistant for the past five months. Previously she was employed as an office manager for the National Institute of Standards & Technolgy, Gaithersburg, Md. for six years.
During her high school years, she was a member of Job's Daughters.
Gail was a devoted mother, a talented seamstress, and an excellant cook with a strong interest in flowers and plants. She was always attending and involved with her childrens school sports, events and activities.
Surviving are her husband, Stephen J. Treado, a member of the Penn State faculty, with whom she celebrated her 36th wedding anniversary on Dec. 14, 2011; a son, Eric J. Treado, Marquette, Mich;, two daughters: Laura E., wife of Michael T. Deyo, Poolesville, Md. and Anna C., wife of Jeffrey J. Stout, Raleigh, N.C.; a granddaughter, Cailyn N. Deyo, Poolesville, Md.; and four siblings: Cynthia Ayo, Raleigh, N.C.; Elaine, wife of Kayid Shawish, McLean, Va.; David Ayo, and his wife Debbie, Fredericksburg, Va.; and Ava., wife of Greg Weakley, Jeffersonton, Va.
A memorial service will be held in St. Mary's Church, 18230 Barnesville Road, Barnesville, Md. on Friday, April 27, 2012, at 10 a. m. to be followed by a luncheon gathering in the Pavilion. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests considering a donation to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation (www.bafond.org).
