Patricia A. Zeigler

Patricia Ann Zeigler, age 68, formerly of Berwick and Bloomsburg, died at 9:15 p. m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Orangeville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she resided since May, 2003.

Born in Philadelphia on May 13, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Bruno and Elsie M. (Gardner) Lucas.  She resided in Berwick briefly before entering the nursing home, previously living in Meridian, Miss. for six years and in Berwick and Bloomsburg prior to that.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Merle O. Zeigler on June 3, 2003; by a son, Merle O. Zeigler, Jr., on Jan. 13, 2009; by a daughter, Serena Utt on August 14, 2010; and by a brother, Bruno Joseph Lucas on Dec. 18, 1998.

Surviving are two sons: Timothy Lucas, Waynesburg; Joseph Zeigler, Middleburg; five step children: Linda, Meridian, Miss.; David Zeigler, Shamokin; William Zeigler, Georgia;  Tammy and Sandra, Bay Minette, Ala.; 27 grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren;  and a sister, Carolyn L., wife of Michael Hennigan, Cogan Station.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, followed by interment next to her late husband in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. There will be no calling hours.
