Patsy A. (Kingston) Johnson, age 82, of 317 Jackson Street, Bloomsburg (Rupert) died at 8:40 a. m. Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital where she had been a patient.
Born on June 7, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Donald L. and Erma (Steinruck) Kingston. She spent her lifetime in the Bloomsburg/Catawissa area.
Patsy was last employed by Milco Industries, Inc., Bloomsburg where she worked for 26 years prior to retiring. Earlier she was employed at the former Emenee Shirt Factory in Catawissa for 19 years.
Her favorite activities were playing bingo and watching boxing on television. Her dogs Heidi and Buddy were very important to her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harry N. Johnson on Dec. 6, 2010; two sisters: Elizabeth Mensch and Gloria Kingston; and by three brothers: Donald L. Kingston, Jr., Charles Kingston and John L. “Monk” Kingston..
Patsy is survived by four daughters: Jeannie Shaffer, Catawissa; Sherry, wife of Brian Hons, with whom she resided in Rupert; Nancy Ogden, Catawissa; Theresa, wife of Eric Troutman, Mt. Carmel; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and six siblings: Donna Lee, wife of Denny Heller, Berwick; Grace, wife of Earl Kline, Catawissa; Deborah, wife of Bob Moore, Berwick; Clair Kingston, Catawissa; Thomas Kingston, Bloomsburg; Ted Kingston, Missouri and a number of nieces and nephews.
At her request there will not be any funeral services.
