Patti M. Steward, age 62, 83 Coleman Development Road, Bloomsburg, died at 7 a.m. Friday, august 21, 2015 at the Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital. She was in failing health for three years.
Born in Bloomsburg on January 8, 1953, she was a daughter of the late James and Madelyn (Whitenight) Travelpiece. Patti attended Berwick schools and graduated from Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School in 1971.
She worked 20 years for Alley Medical Center, Berwick as a medical receptionist.
In her spare time, Patti liked reading and going to casinos. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren A. Steward, Jr. on November 28, 2011.
Surviving are three children: Loren A. Steward, III, wife Josie, Berwick; Terri M. Steward and Greg B. Steward, at home; four grandchildren: Taylor M. DiFebo, at home; Wyatt A. Steward, Seth Mensinger and Zachariah Mensinger, all of Berwick; a brother, Jack Travelpiece, wife Sue; a sister, Nancy, wife of Dan Williams; and her step-father, Arthur Hack, all of Berwick.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with Rev. Byron K. Krapf, retired United Methodist minister, officiating. Interment in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge. Viewing at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 p.m.
