Pauline S. Harms, age 93, formerly of Albertson Road, Orangeville, died early Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at The Life Care Center, Jefferson City, Tennessee where she was a patient.
Born on June 19, 1924 she was the only child of the late Carl F. and Harriet M. (Lands) Stoehr. She was a 1942 graduate of Springfield High School, Springfield, New Jersey. She lived in Milltown, New Jersey for a number of years before moving to Orange Township in 1980 and in 2015 she moved to Tennessee to be closer to her family.
Pauline was employed by the Boy Scouts of America at their headquarters in New Brunswick, New Jersey and later by the New Jersey Aluminum Company.
She was a dog lover and always had a dog for a companion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Harms on May 22, 2010.
Surviving is a son, Stephen Lange, and his wife Janet, Talbott, Tennessee; a step-son, Raymond Harms, and his wife Sandra, Howell, New Jersey; a step-daughter, Karen, wife of Allen Hess, Melbourne, Florida; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family./
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a. m. in Elan Memorial Park, 5595 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge) with the Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy, officiating. There will be no viewing.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
