Pearl L. Bolinsky, age 84, 42 Avon Ave., Bloomsburg, died at 8:28 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2014 in Balanced Care at Bloomsburg Health Care Facility, where she was a patient for five days. She had been in failing health since January.
Born in Main Twp., Columbia County on October 17, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Norman, Sr. and Cordelia (Probst) Breisch. She had resided in the Sunken Heights area of Bloomsburg for 66 years.
In earlier years, Pearl was employed as a waitress at the former Leibyâs Restaurant, and also worked at the former R&G Silk Mill, both of Bloomsburg.
Pearl was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg. She enjoyed playing bingo; watching the Phillies and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert P. Bolinsky on March 16, 1998; a granddaughter, Sherry Lynn Keszkowski; two brothers: Robert Breisch and Duane Breisch; and a sister, Helen Yutko.
Surviving are four children: Bonnie L., wife of John Keszkowski; David A. âButchâ Bolinsky, wife Christine; Walter A. âBoâ Bolinsky, wife Victoria; Barry L. Bolinsky, wife Wendy, all of Bloomsburg; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four siblings: Norman Breisch, Jr., wife Ronnie, South Carolina; Kenneth Breisch, New Castle, Del.; James Breisch, wife Nancy, Bloomsburg and Linda, wife of Thomas Kesler, Berwick.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence officiating. Interment in New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
