PHYLLIS R. HUBBARD
Phyllis R. Hubbard, 915 Country Club Drive, Bloomsburg died on Saturday evening, December 20, 2014, at the Berwick Hospital Center, Berwick, where she was a patient for four days. She had been in failing health for several years
Born in Dover, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Harry T. and Mary Jane (Hunt) Rodgers. She resided in Bloomsburg since April, 2010 and previously lived in Sandystone, New Jersey for many years.
Phyllis was a graduate of Rockaway High School, Rockaway, New Jersey and was last employed as the office manager of Kaufmann Credit Bureau & Collection Agency, Newton, New Jersey, where she was employed for 11 years, last working in 1982.
She was a social member of VFW Post 8306, Catawissa and Fort McClure Post 804, VFW, Bloomsburg.
Phyllis enjoyed cooking and baking.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Howard T. Rodgers and Harry T. Rodgers.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, David L. Hubbard, with whom she observed her 43rd wedding anniversary on October 2, 2014; three nephews and one niece.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
Please omit flowers. Memorials may be sent to either of the VFW's she belonged to or to a charity of the donor's choice.
