Rachel A. Leister, age 20, 109 Faust Street, Danville, died Monday, July 8, 2013 in Danville.
She was born on February 13, 1993 in Lebanon, the daughter of Curtis S. Leister of McClure and Vickie A. (Dewalt) Hare, with whom she resided in Danville. She had resided in Danville for 13 years.
She was a 2011 graduate of Danville High School, where she had been a member of the National Honor Society for several years. She was voted âmost congenialâ in her graduating class. She also played softball during her school years.
Rachel was currently employed at the Dunkin Donuts shop in Danville, and had formerly been employed by the Geisinger Medical Center and the Quality Inn, both of Danville.
She attended Samuelâs Church, McClure.
Surviving in addition to her parents is a daughter, Aunalee Sky Rothermel, age 2; step-father, Lawrence R. Hare, at home; a brother, Scott H. Wintersteen; sister, Gina Marie Wintersteen; and step-brother, Joseph Hare, all of Danville; two nephews; a number of aunts and uncles; and step-grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville, with her pastor, Rev. Clark Kelsey, officiating. Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-5 p.m.
