Richard K. Dendler

Richard K. Dendler, age 91, of Sandy Stone Drive, Orangeville, passed away Thursday evening, March 27, 2025, at Sunset Ridge Healthcare in Scott Township.

Born on August 18,1933 in Berwick, he was the son of the late Harry and Florence (Stine) Dendler. He resided in Orange Township since 2004 and formerly lived in Chalfont.

Richard was last employed assisting his daughter Jayne in her business, Pony Party Paradise. Early he was employed in a furniture factory at Chalfont and Ford Motor Co. in Mahwah, New Jersey.

He was an avid reader and enjoyed his visits to the Orangeville Public Library where he would always find new books to read.

Richard proudly served with the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953 to 1955.

He was happily married and devoted to his wife, the former Angela Ceccato, for 62 years. He is also survived by two daughters: Carole wife of George Froelich of Quakertown and Jayne Seanard of Shickshinny; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a sister Amy Morris of Georgia.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 12 noon in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street. Bloomsburg with Pastor Todd Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park where military honors will be performed by the combined American Legion and VFW Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 11 to 12 noon.
