Richard P. “Rich” Shultz, age 74, of 100 Schoolhouse Road, Bloomsburg (Buckhorn) died at 1:50 p. m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Grandview Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Danville.
Born in Mahoning Township, Montour County on March 14, 1946, he was the son of the late Wilbur R. and J. Mildred (McBride) Shultz.
Rich was a lifelong resident of the Buckhorn area and a 1964 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.
He was a farmer, working with his parents on the family farm.
Rich was a member of the Buckhorn United Methodist Church. He enjoyed watching baseball on television and was always interested in things dealing with farming.
He was the last of his immediate family and is survived by several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May, 9, 2020, at 11 a. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg, with his pastor, Rev. Audrey M. Brosious, officiating. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
