Rita M. (Scoz) Spade

Rita Marie (Scoz) Spade, age 93, of 48 S. Crestwood Drive, Danville died peacefully Friday afternoon, January 7, 2022 at Nottingham Village in Northumberland where she was a patient.

Born in Mt. Carmel on September 17, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Dallago) Scoz. She was a graduate of the former Locust Gap High School.
Rita was employed as a clerk in various stores, including Weis Markets, A & P, IGA and Boyer’s Meats and also worked for the former Lawrence-Horton Mercury dealership in Danville.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Danville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Spade, Jr. on July 24, 2006.
Rita is survived by her son, William F. Spade, III and his wife Margaret, Northumberland, a daughter, Rosemary, wife of Ralph Tobias, Danville and by two grandsons, Shawn Spade and family and Jason Tobias and family.
Funeral services and interment will be at the convenience of the family at her son’s request.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1133 Bloom Road, Danville.
