Robert F. Lebrecht

Robert F. Lebrecht, age 55, Bloomsburg, died at 2:10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he had been a patient for five days. He was in failing health since February 2009.

Born in Brooklyn, New York on December 20, 1953, he was a son of Robert E., Jr. and Catherine (Mendoza) Lebrecht, Bloomsburg. He had resided in Hemlock Township, Columbia County for the last five years and previously in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York.

Surviving Robert aside from his parents are four siblings: Glenn J. Lebrecht, Whittier, Calif.; Michael F. Lebrecht, wife Cynthia, Salisbury Mills, New York; Cathy Lynn Cappola, Bloomsburg and Frank E. Lebrecht, wife Valerie, Long Beach, New York and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Columba Catholic Church, 342 Iron Street, Bloomsburg. Friends may call on Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg. A wake service will be held on Friday at 7 p.m.
