Robert Edward McHenry
Robert E. McHenry, age 90, Columbia Village Apartments, Millville, died at 10:31 p. m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Grandview Health Homes, Danville, where he had been a guest since February.
Born in Orange Twp., Columbia County on June 28, 1923, he was a son of the late Harvey E. and Winifred (Cole) McHenry. He resided in Greenwood Township for 38 years before moving to Millville in 2003.
He served with the US Army during World War II in the European Theater.
Surviving is a son, Robert L. "Rob" McHenry; daughter, Cheryl Samuels, both of Florida; four grandchildren and close friends: Glen and Barbara Brown and Steve and Sue Miller of the Millville area.
Graveside services will be held in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at 11 a. m. with military honors.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
