Robert L. "Bob" Miller

Robert L. “Bob” Miller, age 71, 705 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, died at his home at 4:15 p. m. Monday, October 17, 2016. He was seriously ill since early September.

Born in Wilkes Barre on August 8, 1945, he was a son of the late Harry and Fannie (Trevathan) Miller. He resided in the Bloomsburg area for over 50 years.

Bob was employed by the former Bloomsburg Mills, Inc. for 44 years, retiring when the plant closed in 2007. He was last employed part time by the Press Enterprise, last working in early September.

An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as spending time with his grandchildren.

Bob was a peacetime veteran of service with the US Army.

He was preceded in death by  six siblings.

Surviving are his wife, the former Theresa A. Grassley, with whom he celebrated his  48th wedding anniversary on February 24, 2016; a son, James R. Miller, Bloomsburg; a daughter, Tylee, wife of Tim Fausey, Orangeville; two grandsons: Dallas Robert Miller and Tyler Fausey; two granddaughters: Alyssa Fausey and Bridget Fausey; and several nieces and nephews.

At his request, there will be no funeral services or viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
