Robert L. "Rob" Bennett, II

Robert L. “Rob” Bennett, II, age 45, 228 Tower Drive, Danville, died at 3 p. m. Friday, October 13, 2017 in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he was a patient for four days. He had been in failing health for the past year.

Born in Bloomsburg on April 3, 1972, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Clara E. (Pelter) Bennett. He was a lifelong resident of Columbia County and graduated from Central Columbia High School in 1991.

Rob was last employed by Joerns Recover, Williamsport as a delivery technician. His favorite pastimes were mowing his grass and shooting guns of all types.

Surviving are his wife, the former Amber L. Fertig, with whom he observed his eighth wedding anniversary on June 30, 2017;  a step-daughter, Paige J. Matern, who resided with him; a step-brother, Michael Hosler, Berwick; a brother and a sister as well as several nieces and nephews including Nakia and Hazel.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-7 p. m. at the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market Street, Bloomsburg.
