Robert C. Royer, Sr.

Robert C. Royer, Sr., age 77, of 237 W. Sixth Street, Bloomsburg passed away peacefully at The Gardens At Millville on Sunday afternoon, September 4, 2022.

Born in Bloomsburg on September 19, 1944, he was a son of the late Sidney D. and Hazel M. (Walters) Royer. He spent his entire life in Bloomsburg and attended Bloomsburg Schools.

Robert was employed by Wise Foods, Inc., Berwick for many years.

He was a loving husband and a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A Phillies fan, he also enjoyed watching wrestling and westerns on television and was a fan of Robert Irvine on the Food Channel.

Robert proudly served his country as a member of the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1962 to 1964. He was a member of Valley of Bloomsburg, American Legion Post 273.

Surviving is his loving wife, the former Linda Lou Levan, with he whom he celebrated their 56^th wedding anniversary on April 16, 2022, four children: Robert C. Royer, Jr. and his wife Kelly of Ashland, Gail, wife of Rick Boudman of Berwick, Betty Norada of Bloomsburg, Michael S. Royer and his wife Tabethia of Berwick, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

At his request there will be no funeral services.
