Rosa P. Cosper, age 83, 2630 Bloom Road, Danville, died at her home at 10:10 p. m. Monday, July 18, 2011. She was in failing health for four years.
Born in Zavidovic, Yugoslavia on August 24, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Josip and Amalija (Stosic) Pazdersky and resided in Danville since 1947.
She assisted her late husband, Otto I. Cosper in the operation of the former Ottoâs Auto Parts, Mill Street, Danville. She also was employed at the former Danville Silk Mill and Westinghouse Electric plant, Sunbury. In later years she also babysat children and adults.
Rosa enjoyed doing arts and crafts as well as cooking and baking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto I. Cosper on April 7, 1982.
Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Game, Danville; a son, Daniel O. Cosper, Lansdowne; and three grandchildren: Joseph Game, Ellie Game and Benjamin Game. Rosa was the last of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a. m. in the Roat-Kriner Funeral Home, 1715 Bloom Road, Danville, with the Rev. Gretchen M. Johanson, pastor of St. Peterâs Lutheran Church, Grovania officiating. Entombment in the Community Mausoleum at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville.
