Rose Marie Williams

Rose Marie Williams, age 81, of Bloomsburg, died at 4:20 p. m. Friday, March 13, 2020 at Sunset Ridge Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Scott Township where she resided for 10 years.

Born in Aristes on November 19, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Francis S. and Hannah M (Brobst) Honabach. She was a 1956 graduate of the former Conyngham Township High School. She resided in Bloomsburg for most of her adult life, except from1987 to 2002 when she resided in Brookside Village, Berwick.

Earlier in her life she was employed as an aide at the former Maple Crest Nursing Home in Bloomsburg and later served as a caregiver in private homes.

Rose was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Ft.. McClure Post 804, VFW. She was a longtime member of the Barry Manilow fan club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons: Timothy L. Long and Evan J. Long and a brother, Marvin Honabach.

Surviving are three sons: William E. Long, and his wife Susan, Fleetwood; Glenn A. Long, and his wife Diane, Riverside; Randy L. Long, and his wife Donna, Berwick; a daughter Renee L., wife of Steven Cooke, Bloomsburg; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and nine siblings: Mary Ellen Masinos, Shamokin; Stetler H. Honabach, Catawissa; Maynard Honabach, and his wife Eileen, Wenoah, N.J.; Blanche Luella Coladonato, Bloomsburg; Cleo, wife of Daniel Balandovich, Jenkintown; Wayne Honabach, and his wife Edith, Aristes; Lois Hammer, Berwick; Wilmetta Morris, Largo, Fla.; Dale Honabach, and his wife Dottie, Harrisburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Dr. Joel L. Zeiders, officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery, Aristes. The family will greet friends from 1-2 p. m.
