Ruth S. Peak

Ruth S. Peak, age 82, of 6715 Jefferson St., Bloomsburg (Lime Ridge), passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on August 22, 1939 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sara (Snyder) Titus. She had been a resident of Lime Ridge since 1984.

Ruth was last employed by Steve Miller Cleaning in Catawissa.

Ruth enjoyed playing Bingo, gardening, and she loved her cat.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lee Peak, on December 13, 1997, and by a son, Gary L. Peak, on February 2, 2017.

Ruth is survived by three children: Kenneth C. Peak, and his wife Raylene, of Sumpter, SC, Diana L., wife of Eric Sweeney, of Phoenix, AZ, and Kathleen J. Beeman, of Bloomsburg; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Private burial will be held in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
