Sam R. Cuthbert, age 27, 4 Lost Creek Drive, Selinsgrove, died at 3:36 p. m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born on January 4, 1988 in Dublin, Ireland, a son of Richard and Philomena (Kelly) Cuthbert, with whom he resided. He resided in Selinsgrove for 25 years and was a 2006 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
Sam was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and Godfather. Sam, our beautiful boy will be so fondly remembered as a witty, funny, gentle soul, with an infectious loveable nature, who had the rare ability to be present and there for others, despite the serious challenges he consistently faced.
Sam continued to inspire his close family and anyone lucky enough to meet him. He has impacted our lives, leaving an imprint never to be forgotten. In life we loved you dearly. In death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill.
Be at peace now Sam and watch over us.
Surviving in addition to his parents, is a brother Karl Cuthbert, at home; his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in Ireland and also the United States.
A celebration of his life will take place at a time and place to be announced. There will be no viewing.
Instead of sending flowers or cards, a small donation in his name to Gift of Life Family House, Philadelphia, would be greatly appreciated by his family. There is a link for this on Facebook.
