Shana Kay (Maxwell) Glenney, age 42, of 1301 Freas Ave., Berwick, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, after an illness.

Born on September 28, 1978 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Lucinda M. (Robbins) Maxwell. She was a lifelong resident of Columbia County and a 1997 graduate of the Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School.

She held a number of jobs in her lifetime. She was a cashier and waitress at the Travel Centers of America truck stop in Buckhorn for several years and also worked as a personal caregiver before becoming disabled.

Shana was an excellent cook. She enjoyed listening to music and being with her children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Solomon Maxwell, and a sister, Shannon Marie Maxwell.

Surviving is a son, Draven James Glenney, of Bloomsburg, a daughter, Jillian R. Glenney, who resided with her in Berwick, and four siblings: James (Jay J) Clifford Maxwell, Jr., of Florida, Katie Ann, wife of Jeremy Kennedy, of Berwick, Joel Eric Maxwell, of Bloomsburg, Melissa Ann, wife of David Irwin, of Berwick.

There will be no funeral services or viewing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Dean W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg.
